Help with Check ABN in ChatGPT.

To help us help you, include

• what you asked ChatGPT, and the ABN, ACN or name you looked up;
• what you expected and what you saw (a screenshot helps);
• the "weekly ABR copy" date shown on the card.

Please don't send anyone else's personal details beyond the ABN or name you looked up.

Common questions

• A business changed its details but the card is out of date. Results come from a weekly copy of the ABR, refreshed every Thursday. Check the "weekly ABR copy" date on the card.
• The invoice check says it "can't confirm". The weekly ABR copy only has a business's current ABN and GST start dates, not earlier history, so for invoices dated before them Check ABN won't guess.
• Name search didn't find a business. It matches the start of active business names. Try the first word of the legal or business name, or search by ABN.
• Is this an official government service? No. Check ABN is independent and is not endorsed by the Australian Government or the ABR.
