Check ABN is operated by Suama Pty Ltd (ACN 675 918 920) as trustee for the Suama Trust (ABN 26 626 957 599), Melbourne, Victoria ("we").
By using Check ABN you agree to these terms.
What Check ABN is
A free, read-only tool for ChatGPT that shows public details from the Australian Business Register (ABR) and checks a supplier invoice against them. It is an independent tool. It is not a government service and is not made or endorsed by the Australian Government, the ABR, the Australian Taxation Office or OpenAI.
Check before you rely on it
- Results come from a weekly copy of the ABR, refreshed every Thursday. Each card shows the date of that weekly ABR copy. Changes made at the ABR since then won't appear.
- The invoice check is general information, not tax, legal or financial advice. Confirm important decisions, such as withholding from a payment or claiming a GST credit, with the ABR or a registered tax agent.
- The Commissioner of Taxation's protection for people who rely on ABN Lookup may not apply to results from Check ABN. For a decision that matters, confirm on the ABR's own site.
Fair use
- Use it for single lookups. Don't use it to build lists, copy the register in bulk, scrape it or run automated high-volume queries.
- Don't use it to harass, spam, or market to people listed in results, to misrepresent anyone, or for anything unlawful.
- We may limit or stop access that breaks these rules or overloads the service.

We filter and reformat this data, and the invoice verdicts are ours, not the ABR's. The ABR and the Commonwealth don't endorse, sponsor or have any connection with Check ABN.
Availability
We provide Check ABN as is. We try to keep it running and accurate, but we don't promise it will always be available, error-free or up to date, and we may change or stop it.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that can't be excluded. Otherwise, to the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any loss arising from using Check ABN or relying on its results, and if we fail to meet a consumer guarantee, our liability is limited, where the law allows, to supplying the service again or paying the cost of having it supplied again.

General
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and the courts of Victoria can hear any dispute.
We may update these terms by posting a new version here with a new date. Changes apply only to use after that date. If you don't agree with a change, you can stop using Check ABN.
